From the debut album by Catfish Flats.
Here's a preview track from our forthcoming album.

This song was written in the studio while doing rhythm tracks for our album. Between takes Henry and I were jamming on a groove. Rick was behind the console and after a couple of minutes of listening he yelled for us to stop so he could hit the 'Record' button. I came up with an arrangement on the spot and the drums and rhythm guitar you hear on the cut are a first take from Henry and I. Rick later overdubbed his bass track and I did the rest of the guitars and vocals in my studio. Thanks to Rick for having the presence of mind to record what we were doing. Without him this song would have never been captured. And thanks to Henry for a killer drum track. This track also features The Amazing Eddie Moore on keyboards.

Here is a song that was a true international collaboration. My friend Jochen Scheffels from Duisburg, Germany wrote and played the drums and keys on this tune. Back stateside Bigsby from Bigsby Tracks Music played the bass. Then I overdubbed all of the guitar tracks in my home studio. Give this one a listen. I really like the way it turned out.

On the morning of March 12 I received an email from Annie D, a friend from The Fender Forum inquiring about the status of our album, and specifically about some songs featuring slide guitar. I sent her links to "Airport Blues" and "Remembering Duane". Then I grabbed my old Silvertone Electric and wrote and recorded this for her. This is one track of slide guitar in G tuning.
